Delta grew up in Argentina at a time when Tango was considered old fashioned and déclassé, but she had always harbored a secret love for the music. In 2007, much to her delight, she discovered the Ann Arbor tango community and has been dancing every since. Tango does not come easily to Delta, so her ten-year journey has involved the exploration of many different ways to learn, and thus to teach, this fascinating dance.
For Delta, tango is more than just a physical activity, made up of specific moves. It is a unique and delicious way to connect to the other human being in the embrace, and it is about an almost spiritual connection to the music.
Delta particularly enjoys introducing new people to tango, and helping them take their first steps into this challenging, addictive and endlessly rewarding art.
